Sending SMS Messages
Send SMS via dashboard or API:
Via Dashboard
- Go to Campaigns → Create Campaign
- Select "SMS" as your channel
- Compose your message (160 characters per segment)
- Select your audience
- Schedule or send immediately

Phone Number Validation
Validate phone numbers before sending:
- Format validation
- Country code verification
- Carrier lookup

RCS Messaging
Rich Communication Services (RCS) offers enhanced features:
- Rich media (images, videos, carousels)
- Suggested actions and replies
- Read receipts
- Typing indicators
- Branded sender
RCS Availability
RCS automatically falls back to SMS if the recipient's device doesn't support RCS.
Compliance
SMS compliance requirements:
- Obtain explicit consent before sending
- Include opt-out instructions (e.g., "Reply STOP to unsubscribe")
- Honor opt-out requests immediately
- Follow TCPA and CTIA guidelines
- Respect quiet hours (8 AM - 9 PM local time)
