Automation is the engine that drives personalized customer journeys at scale. With LeadNest's visual workflow builder, you can design conditional paths, nurture campaigns, and automate engagement across every channel—WhatsApp, Email, SMS, and Push—without writing code.
Overview
The Journeys module provides a visual automation builder to create lead flows. It allows you to respond to customer behaviors in real-time. Whether it's a new lead from a Facebook ad, an abandoned cart, or a meeting booked via ScheduleNest, you can ensure the right message is sent at the perfect moment.
Workflows are triggered instantly by user actions. Our high-performance engine ensures that transactional messages and critical alerts are delivered with sub-second latency.
Quickstart Guide
1 Create a Journey
In the sidebar, select Journeys → New Journey. Enter a descriptive name and goal for your automation.
2 Add Entry Conditions
- Choose a Trigger (e.g., dataset import, segment join, or API event).
- Set initial filters, such as
Validation Score ≥ 70, to ensure only high-quality leads enter.
3 Build Your Workflow
Drag and drop nodes onto the canvas to design the journey path:
- Send: Deploy messages via WhatsApp, Email, or SMS.
- Wait: Add delays (minutes, hours, or days) between actions.
- Split: Create conditional branches based on user behavior or attributes.
- Validation Gate: Automatically filter or route users based on real-time data checks.
4 Activate & Monitor
- Click Publish Journey to go live.
- Test with a sample lead to verify your logic.
- Open the Journey Dashboard to review engagement, drop-offs, and conversions.
Best Practices
- Start Simple: Begin with one entry point and one primary channel before adding complexity.
- Validation Gates: Always use validation nodes to filter low-quality leads before sending high-cost SMS or WhatsApp messages.
- Incremental Scaling: Test your journeys with small audience segments before rolling out to your entire database.
